Haydock High Jinks and The Great betting Giveaway

Just a short post today dear friends and a very warm welcome to anybody who is here for the first time.  If you are completely new to the blog you can learn a little more about me here.

It’s nice to (metaphorically) see a few new faces! I hope everybody who has downloaded the AW Favourites System over the last couple of days enjoys it and finds it profitable.

While I’m on the subject of downloading, the Great Betting Giveaway will be closing down tonight. If you haven’t moseyed over there and grabbed the raft of systems, guides and software being handed out gratis, you should do it today. There’s no less than 29 free downloads available for nothing and it would be a real shame to miss out.

Last week, I asked if anybody would be interested in becoming a system/tipster tester for Make Your betting Pay. I was overwhelmed with the response and need to say a big thank you to everybody who got in touch. As a result we are starting a new review immediately with another to follow early next week.

As I said last week, I’m not a huge fan of short reviews/tests so, where possible, we will be giving everything a three month trial to get a decent picture of longer term performance.

The first tipster we will be trialling is Winning Racing Tips and I’ve written a short introduction to the service that you can read here in the reviews section.

Next week we will be starting a trial of a football service that produced 115 points profit last season! Watch this space.

If you have any systems or tipsters you would like to see reviewed in future, please leave a comment and I will do my very best to accommodate everybody.

I’m in a bit of a quandary this morning.

I’ve been offered the opportunity to buy a share in a horse trained by Richard Fahey called Our Boy Jack. He was considered to be a real prospect as a two year old (hence his entry in the Brocklesby) but didn’t really live up to the hype. He’s been working exceptionally well at home and won his race last week off a mark of 63. Mr Fahey thinks he’s a good deal better than that. His next engagement is in a 15k Nursery at York next week. Obviously, it’s very tempting to have a ready-made runner at the Ebor meeting (particularly one with a half decent chance of winning and recouping my investment in one fell swoop) so I will have to count up my pennies and see where things stand. I haven’t been to York for a while!

I was at Haydock on Saturday with Mrs MYBP and a couple of friends to see Charlie Cool run (and not win) again. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the place so busy. Sold out with plenty of people (including what looked like a couple of hen and stag parties) unable to get in for love nor money.

I got outside a couple of Guinness’s early on so the days a bit of a blur but I’m pretty sure I had a good time! One of the main things I can remember is giving Mrs MYBP £20 to back Mirza and then her reappearing with £15 change! He duly won at 11/2 and guess what? I didn't see a penny of the winnings!

That's all from me today but look out for a mail next week when we will commence our Football tipster trial

Have a great day
